STARTUP PITCH CONTEST WINNERS ARE ANNOUNCED

The Djooky Startup Pitch Contest was a prominent and successful part of the Djooky Music Investment Summit agenda. It became a global online competition that offered a platform to startups in the music industry from all over the world. The winner companies came from the USA, Egypt, the UK, Estonia, Denmark, Japan, Italy, Argentina, Spain, and the ones on the pre-selection list were also from Chili, Nigeria, Spain, Canada, Taiwan, Germany, India,.

Applications were collected from startups that had their products ready for the market. Up to seven finalists were selected in each of the following categories:

• AI and Technology in the Music Industry

• Digital Entertainment and Content Creation

• Music Licensing and Production

Djooky Music Investment Summit was honored to have a team of professional and highly acclaimed Jury Members from such music organizations as Musiio, TheLynk, gener8tor, WeAreMusicTech, Vampr Inc, Radium, LyricFind, and Van Orden Marketing and Media.

During the competitive Pitch Contest, the Jury Members evaluated the startups and the results were announced live. The winners of the competition are:

• terrible* in the AI and Technology category;

• Tunedly in the Digital Entertainment and Content Creation category;

• Seven Seas Music in the Licencing and Production category.

The winners are now to receive various prizes: non-financial contributions such as mentorship programs by Jury Members Virginie Berger from WeAreMusicTech and Darryl Ballantyne from LyricFind, automatic admission to the accelerator program for the next gBETA Musictech by gener8tor, and monetary endorsements from Musiio, an AI platform that helps to solve content and curation problems for the music industry.
