About

The idea of Djooky Music Investment Summit was sparked by Gennadiy Kurochka, CFC Big Ideas Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Djooky — an international music startup working to democratize and decentralize the music industry by engaging music lovers to support the songs and artists they love while offering emerging talented artists/songwriters direct access to world class resources.

As the Covid-19 pandemic revealed, there are many challenges the music industry has to deal with on a daily basis. These include lack of funds for beginner artists, pirating and copyright infringements, licensing issues during music promotion, and lack of instruments for processing metadata and big data. Canceled live shows and tours were also a significant cause of financial setback.

The goal of the Djooky Music Investment Summit is to bring together key players of the music business responsible for drawing investments into the music industry in order to

Among our speakers are representatives of publishing companies and labels, streaming platforms, distributors of independent music, global tech companies, artist management companies, consulting firms, and music industry veterans and entrepreneurs. All of them are taking part or have contributed to the development and enhancement of the music industry as well as its recovery after Covid-19.

The Summit’s topics revolve around investment and finances in the evolving music ecosystem; independent artists as the fastest-developing segment of the music business; streaming platforms as the industry’s ultimate game changer; AI, blockchain, and innovation as hot spots for investors; new tech solutions; intellectual property rights, and other.

With these ideas in mind, CFC Big Ideas believes the pandemic must become a new boost to discuss and improve the way the music industry is financed and subsidized.
